original pricing was going to be $12,xxx but then i checked about a month later on the pricing at work and it was ranging between $13,xxx to $14,xxx.
i'm pretty sure if you get the base model with no accessories, it'll be $12,5xx without tax.
add the tax, shipping fee (to have the car shipped to the dealer you'll be buying it at or so they say) and all the hunk of dmv ****, it'll probably be $15-$16,xxx for a base model versa.
of course, i plan on getting the sl, top of the line with all the accessories.
one thing i heard from the sales rep is that if you wait maybe 6 months, they might come out with a Nismo Tuned version of the Versa.or just a version that's supposedly better than the sl.
the top heads at nissan corp normally do that anyway.the proof is the nismo sentra, nismo altima, eventually even the nismo 350z (s-tune and r-tune).
so the question is do you want to wait for a Nismo version IF they make it?i think it'll be worth it.bigger rims, performance exhaust (maybe even headers?), short ram intake, and thicker sway bars. maybe even discs in the rear instead of drums? don't forget the shiny-carbony shift knob. oooooh... nice.
my d!ck is getting a little hard just thinking of a Nismo Versa.
