Look up inside the frame there and see if you can see if the nut is in there. Its welded in place, so i'm guessing it just got stripped. Get ya some bolts one size bigger and a tap and bolt it back up that way.

^^^^that or cut a slot in the core support and put new nuts in there and tack weld them in place. than weld a piece of sheet metal over the area you cut out

ok bro.....what ever you do..dont drive this yet..please...there is sumpin else going on here than what you can only see with your eye's...for that to happen..there is a hidden stress to the suspention or frame area's somewhere...you need to double check everything under your ride bro...but first...power wash that thing...thats probly the reason you did not see it untill now...dont get me wrong..im not gettin down on ya, im just pointing you in the rite direction...example .."if you keep your engine and underside clean..you can spot leaks easy"...just so you understand im only tyring to make you a better wrenchman...now..back to your issue....even if you fix the stripped nut ..and rebolt it togetther..you might wana think about a power brace to reinforce that area...you all ready know its week from a possible accident..or other disaster...definitly look into that...but please keep us all posted on how this turned out.

have you Always hit the brakes and watched the car pull to the side, or just recently? I'm kidding. It SHOULD have done that tho. I truly doubt anything cosmic is happening. Prob an ex accident. X that, Def got some momentum shoved in a direction stopped by that bolt. So anything new happen, or it was always shaky?

edit: forgot to mention, proceed with either of the above mentioned approaches for a very suitable repair. Very good advice guys. :yesnod

i have had the car for 2 years and i have never wrecked it... the nut inside is not stripped.. the welds broke. the only thing that i can think that caused this is my rotors, they were warped really bad (replaced just recently prior to this) also, were the sway bar bolts are suppose to be, those are missing too so i had to remove my sway bar cuz it was hanging on that side. its not shaking but i noticed when i turn my wheels to the left it goes back in place. another thing, the bushing in the third pictured is f*** but i dont know what its called so its kinda hard to replace it lol. ps.. i have power washed my engine like 3 times, that s*** is just caked on there lol

engine degreaser is your friend.lol. I used some on my old civic and it did wonders. Spray the crap out of everything, let it sit for about 10 minutes(or what the can says), scrub if u want it really clean after letting it sit and then powerwash. That should take care of alot of the problems.

As for the powerbrace...I took some pointers from FlatBlackIan and made my own. Just make sure you weld some ladder bars on while it is on the car to get the right distance apart and then by some round/square tube from home depot. I payed like 20 for it and welded it myself. It really beats paying 160 plus s&h for a nismo one and it may be more beefy.

Did you let someone else drive your car? That looks wrecked! With the additional information about the sway bar there are several problems there. turn the wheel and line it up, stick a bolt in it and then turn the wheel back and see if you get any binding?

needs to be secured with some heavy duty bolt/nut. Proceed as directed by lbreevesii and bllabong above.
