help!! whats wrong with car??

okay i bought a new battery today, and since i was having issues with the old one, i decided to take a ride over to autozone. i had them test the battery and the alternator, the battery tested fine and the alternator tested fine, but the battery was slowly losing voltage, and the alternator read at -11 volts. the autozone guy said i was just running the car on the battery, and by the time i got home the car died and didnt start anymore, have no idea why.any help would be appreciated

well the battery can lose power if there are accessories left on, but if the car only runs on the battery, but the alternator is fine then i suggest that it could be the alt-batt wire connection. sounds like there is something else that you don't know yet

Dont trust some schmo from autozone.

Hes working in a place like that for a reason.Go ask on the "technical" forum.
