I think it is running on all 4. Do you think its the transmission?

way too early to be asking what specific issue it would be. how do you know its running on all 4 cylinders? what kind of troubleshooting have you done so far?

provide more info before jumping to conclusions.

well when it starts I cant make it stop, I just go home and turn the car off. Then the next day its fine for awhile but then starts up again. The car is almost un-driveable when its happening. Like there is almost no acceleration at all.

i remember on my buddys jetta, and once on my old integra i just had a faulty plug wire and it would completely make the motor sound like crap(like a dump truck) and no acceleration. I dont know if you've ruled that out but maybe when its doing it you can check it. You may know how to check it, but if not, one at a time take the plug wires off and if it makes it run worse then put it back on. If it stays the same when you take one of them off, then theres the prob. Hope that makes sense(you prolly knew how to anyways but maybe its just something as simple as that.

Thanks for the help I will try it 2morrow. And yea it sounds EXACTLY like a dump truck, but then again I get a constant squeeling sound at 3k+ rpm also.

you have not been able to provide any useful info regarding this problem to help us diagnose. take it to your mechanic and dont blame the car for your inability to keep up with the maintenance.

Hey maybe you should learn how to read, because I already said the problem about 5 times in this thread. And I take care of the car, but since nissan builds pieces of **** it breaks down on me.

Its so obvious... He said it sounds like a dump truck. He THINKS it might be the transmission. And he THINKS its running on all 4. Also nissan builds pieces of "sh1t".

Apparently someone who cant check the spark on his dump truck motor could engineer better cars than japanese with huge number crunchers for brains.

bottom line is this:

you ask about a problem that has very vague and ambiguous symptoms. the very first post gives you an easy way to troubleshoot and you turn down the help. then you get defensive and start namecalling when you cant provide any more decent technical info for us to use to help you.

your attitude needs to be checked. were here to help and you arent giving us a chance AND youre being immature about it. shape up.

Thats freakin rad. I was thinkin TX + at the drive in? Coincidence? Not like texas isnt a huge state and you could live hundreds of miles from wherever they were from.
