Possibly related to my other post...
I have ALL the vacuum lines on my KA-T removed/looped / plugged, except for the brake booster and the one vacuum port on the manifold right near the brake booster source.
The 4 coming out from under the TB are capped, the big "rack" of lines on the rear of the head is gone, and there are NO vacuum leaks (I'm pulling 20-22 psi of vacuum at idle).
My question is, although the car starts and idles fine, it stalls on the slightest deceleration (recirc'ed BOV).
I'm getting a queasy feeling that the IACV isn't getting any air (duh) since it's capped off.
SO - Should the IACV line (which I think is the larger of the 4 lines coming out from under the TB) be:
Connected to a nipple on the intake (pre-MAF)Connected to a nipple AFTER the MAF, before the turboConnected to the coldpipe before entering the TB
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
