The Insurance is sending an adjuster over to appraise my car and I need to know if anyone knows how much my wheels originaly cost. Story behind the wheels are: They were on Dr. Birkmires Q I believe, then Fred bought it, then sold it to Wes and then I refinished them when I bought them from Wes. I need to know how much they were in 98 when purchased originaly. Does anyone know??? They are O.Z. MSW Wheels I was told when I bought them. I know that's a Motor Sports Wheels logo on them, but I don't think O.Z. had anything to do with MSW which is a seperate company. I have searched and searched but can't find them on the web. Here's pic's

Before:

NOW:

they are 2 17 x 8.5 and 2 18 x 8.5

Shoot. I don't think they would because they would have to look back and they're not going to go into a person's sale to give me that info. Especially that long ago..... I'll check tomorrow with Brian at Tirerack to see if they can get me any info at all. sure wish I had that $1000 reciept Wes.

OZ Racing Saturn Plus, used on Lotus 99-01 on the V8 model.

I'd assume $295 each for the fronts, and $395 each for the rears.

I found some old pricing in British pounds to make that guesstimate.

I think I have a set of 17x8's, but they'd need refurbing.

Where'd you find that Rex? I checked high and low and searched pictures of every OZ MSW wheel I could find. They looked like a few different types but not quite. Thanks for the info. I'll see if I can find them and so I've got something to show.

O.K. They are indeed OZ MSW Saturn Plus. How about them apples.

The MSW plate is because it was shipped from England. Had it been from Italy TireRack would have the other OZ face plate. (Had to call OZ Racing to find that out)

According to Tirerack they are MSW Type 55C and in 98 they were going fro about 230 each for the 17x8.5. This is all from an issue of C and D from 8/98

I saw that web link, but could not get a picture of the 55C wheel. OZ said they made the wheel for MSW when I spoke to them. Kinda like Radio Shack gets major brands to put Radioshack's name on certain items. Can you get a picture of the MSW 55C wheel? I'll look as well. OZ also said it's considered what they call a Junior wheel. Whatever that means. He was saying something about a step down from F-1???? Anyway thanks for that info.

Found all I need Thanks again:

MSW 55C

This explains the OZ Saturn Plus is the MSW 55C. It's a U.S. rest of the world thing.
