Hi

i have a 2006 M35 and I just got jic coils put in and 2 new front tires 225 30 20 also put on! Im happy with the look of my M35 BUT since I added the jic coils and the 2 new front tires my inside brake warning light , VDC light, key light, and other lights come on when i start up, also wierd my speedomitor shuts off so i dont know how fast I'm going and also there is a delay on my navigation. Is this frm the tires size being smaller?? is this just s simple reset? anyone knows how to do it?? thanks for your help!

its not the wheels or coilover install, unless the installer messed with something.

sorry can't help with the problems but they don't have anything to do with the tires or coilovers - unless something that was not supposed to be touched was touched.

Who put them on? Who ever put them on needs to try and fix it. It is possible that they unplugged a speed sensor and did not plug it back in. Trace all areas that they would or you would have to access to install the springs. You need to look at the wiring harnesses closely. Pop the hood and look around the strut mount areas as well.Sorry to hear and hope you find it soon.

dude you are in SoCal!!! why didn't you have Stillen install those parts! they install modifications for nissans and infinity's that will NOT void the factory warranty. in fact, they give you a warranty on the modifications installed. they are pricey a bit, but it's worth it, especially if you drive an Infinity.

I would say its those tires. I dont think they are stock height tires. A 225/35 is right at 26" so I was say that 30 series is even smaller.

Sorry, but tires??? Wrong size tires are not going to make those kind of lights all go off. It is much more than that. IMO.

Hay guys ok so I fixed the problem IT IS THE TIRE SIZE!!!!!!!! I went and bought 245 35 20 and stuck them on the front and the rear i got 255 35 20 and all the lights even the check engine lights went off after about 5min of driving!!so if you have 20's dont go under 225 30 20 tire size or you will have this problem too! Live and learn! cost me extra $350!!! DOH laatessk

Ah! I understand this better now - I did not respond earlier because I did not know the solution.

I don't think it is the absolute tire size being smaller that was the problem ... it was probably the large difference in rolling diameters between the front and the back tires. I had previously assumed that you had the same tire on all four wheels (and hope I am assuming correctly now!) when you went with a smaller tire. I missed the fact that the tires were significantly different from front to back ...

This difference in rolling diameter was probably confusing the heck out of the anti-slip system, anti-lock braking system, etc.! Other side-effects, like the speedo not working, were probably related.

Be glad you did not do this to an AWD car - that would damage the ATTESA system!

Hey it was the install of the Coils there is a sensor in the front that is easily broken 9 times outa 10 have the dealer check for it also you might not be aware but if you need brake pads those lights come on as well
