help!!! urgent

hey so im changing the brake pads now. i have 1991 s13. manual. ka24deok back brakes were fine. front i cant figure out how to retract the piston so the caliper would slide on the new pads

They sell tools for that, Sears, Pep Boys, Harbor Freight, etc.

C-clamp, old brake pad, and open bleeder as you turn in the c-clamp.

Put a c-clamp on and slowly tighten it, pushing the piston in the caliper. For the rear calipers you use a pair of needle nose pliers to rotate the piston, screwing it in.

well yea rear calipers were fine.. went in with ease. the thing about turning them i already knew.

but i didnt know that the front piston is gonna be different
