I searched, and didn't really get any good answers. I need to drive my car tomorrow, so quick answers would be great. Anyway, I drove my car around today. Ran fine, just like it always has. I came back home, ate some dinner, and I went back out to go to pick up a friend and when I started to get on it, I noticed my BOV wasn't very loud. So I floored it in 1st and second and the turbo doesn't spool until 5000+ rpms and peaks at like .78bar. Since I got the car, it always has spooled around 3800 to 4200 and it peaked around .89bar. The car idles fine and pulls the same vaccum at idle. It drives fine under part throttle too, and it doesn't hesitate, it just doesn't spool. I went through my SAFC and my stock MAF used to hit 100% at like 6000rpms, and now, the highest it went was 94% at redline. It seems like its not getting enough air, like the filter got clogged or something? I dunno, I am very lost. I think I'm gonna try to clean the MAF (rubbing alcohol and slosh it around in a ziplock is what I heard works).

Anyway, here is my set up. SAFCII and AVC-R (not controlling boost, the WG spring is controlling boost for now until I set up the AVCR). T3/T04E with a Tial 38mm external wastegate. I didn't mess with any of the settings on the electronics or anything. It just drove fine. I let it idle for a little over a min. cuz I don't have a TT yet and then I come back out and its not working. I also got gas at the local Amoco, maybe bad gas? The knock sensor wasn't going off so I don't think its pulling timing, so I don't know. Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

k, I just went out and drove it again and its still doing it. It doesn't have any trouble going from vac to boost when I stab the throttle...it gets like 2psi around 2500-3000, and 5psi by like 4500, and then the full 12psi at like 5500rpm. BOV works fine. (its not stuck open). It idles right at 780rpm and vairies by liek 10rpm. It pulls constant 400-415mm/Hg vac at idle. I checked the turbo, and it spins just as freely as it did last week when I checked it. I'm very lost. This just came out of no where. Thanks for any help guys...I'm gonna go finish taking apart my MAF, any reason why I can't use rubbing alcohol in a ziplock?

I cleaned the stock maf real quick by sloshing some rubbing alcohol through it. I went and ran it again, and it seemed to help, but not much. 5psi by about 3500, full 12psi by about 4500-4800. Still the MAF is reading low-mid 90% at readline when it maxed out way before. This time I hit .83 bar instead of .7X. Still before I would boost .86-.91 when it ran normal. I'm gonna try to get a bigger MAF soon anyway, so maybe I'll find out. Also, tomorrow after work I'm gonna tear off the bumper and check all the IC piping and hose clamps as well as cleaning the filter.

curiosity got the best of me, and I took apart my MAF tonight. The first thing that caught my eye was a lot of whatlooked like lint on the filaments of the MAF... :thinker If I have this right, the MAF reads the resistance across the filaments and the more air the filament gets, the cooler it gets. My MAF was reading lower because the lint or whatever was blocking airflow across the filaments, almost like wearing a coat. I'm waiting for the alcohol to dry up over night, then I'll plug 'er in tomorrow hopefully to see the problem fixed.

yeah, I love answering my own question online. Oh well, I posted my findings mostly to help others with their problems, cuz when I searched, not a whole lot of solutions were found.
