All right, so I just put three of my new wheels on and one lugnut on the front left won't come off. The threads (outside of the nut) are destroyed so sockets do nothing and I've been trying to crack it for some time now. I don't have a torch to heat it and I've been trying to chisel at it with a hammer and flathead and also a drill, but to no avail. I'd really like to finish this tonight...

Any suggestions?

I had that happen before, since both your stud and lug nut are now probably shot I would use a breaker bar with an extension ( i.e pipe) on the end and try to torque it off, other then that you can try a hack saw to the lug nut or a dremel tool to cut the lug nut off if you have one. Once you make a deep enough gouge in it you should be able to pry it off of the stud. Hope this helps.

I had to do this before also, I just ground it off and replaced the stud and nut.

YES, bolt extractors are great. they are sockets with, instead of a hex pattern, a spiraled pattern with teeth going against "Lefty" so it bites into the nut and grips it right off...but i always use them with a Air impact gun...and recently i had to remove a rusted lug from a 26" rim on an Avalanche....deep well thin wall lug, and damaging the wheel was OUT of the question....i couldnt hammer the extractor onto the lugnut enough to bite and get a grip.....AIR HAMMER! My new best team...i use it every time, and NOW i can bust ur wheel locks off without damaging them....then next time they will remember their key...I HOPE
