When I pull up the lever to open my trunk, the cable pulls and makes the typical noise of it being pulled up but when I go to open the trunk, its stuck closed, and I cant put the key in it because its a silvia trunk. Ive pushed down on it and all of that but it still doesnt open. Any suggestions before I some how attempt to squeeze my skinny a** back there and unbolt the whole latch? hahah.

And If it helps, the gas door opens fine.

You must have hit your "opener cancel lever" in your trunk. Here is a post from back in the day when this happened to another vert member:
trunk-release-t327747.html?hilit=trunk
The sixth post down is a picture I posted of the owners manual on how to turn it on and off. Hope this helps...but without a key it might really be hard to stick your arm though the back seat to get to it. Get a friend to help you, you pull up on the trunk lever beside your seat and hold it up...then get a friend to try and pull up on the trunk. Mine no longer pops up when I pull up the trunk release so I have to either get my wife to pull it up or just use the key. If you already did that, and can't reach the opener cancel lever by going though the back seat...just take it to a locksmith. Shouldn't be much more then $40 if you make an appointment and take the car to them.

Thank you for the info, but I got my little brother to climb back there and the bolt was loose on the bottom so it wasnt tight enough to pull the latch.

Take the lock off and have a locksmith re-key it to your keys so you won't have to worry about that happening again. Most shops charge around $35-$45.

I've had all of my lock cylinders rekeyed to my ignition key since I swapped the doors and threw a silvia trunk lock on.

Best is to just swap the tumblers, but you'd have to have the original tumbler.
