I installed triple projectors on my vert some time ago and the light coming from the low beam cuts up to the left. I've looked on nico for an answer but haven't found one. Its really annoying to drive like this, I think I'm blinding everyone at night. I've messed with all 3 adjustment screws and they don't help at all. Any help is apreciated.

Thanks.

I have the dual projectors with center fogs and they did that before I got my coil overs, car was uneven. Also the inside fender was bent a little down making it uneven too. Just bent it back with some pliers for metal ones.

I doubt it but I'll check again. Notice they are straight and then angle upwards. I've tried moving the bulb around, and tilting the lights to one side would still make them angle off to one side.

It's because you put in lights made for a RHD vehicle. Has nothing to do w/ car being uneven.

There's only 2 ways to fix it:

- pull the housing/projector & shave the line straight or rig it up so it will point the other way

- remove the entire projector & replace w/ an s2000 or tsx projector or equivalent (this is available in the articles/tech section under "hid retrofit" or something similar).

That's what I figured. They're angled up to light up road signs in jap. I was confused cause my friend has triple projectors and his are straight, but I guess it depends on the year of the Silvia they came out of. Thanks for the info.

If they aren't modified, it's probably because he had them pointed extra low or at a weird angle. Technically, all Silvia headlights should angle like yours did - the severity just depends on how you adjust them.

I stand corrected... But why do mine sit even and level then?

I looked around and found it was possible to modify the light shield in the projectors. Does anyone know of a writeup for this?

I know there was one a while back, but I don't know the exact link.

In any case, if you follow the tsx projector writeup in the articles/tech pages, you'll be able to get to the point of removing the entire projector.

From there, you'll notice your shield has a slight angle - either u cut everything off (and adjust accordingly), or you add metal to the shield - i.e. add another slant one way, then cut off the original slant.

I still highly recommend just putting in tsx projectors - the light output is so much better.
