I finally wore out my tires - and the car has the factory 17" P235 on rear and 17" P225 on front.

The guy at the tire store suggested I go to P225 all around. This doesn't sound right to me - I'm under the impression that the rear rims are 1/2" wider than the fronts.

Should I consider putting the same size tires all around, or stick with the original sizes?

Thanks. . . Stu

Tire guy is an idiot.

Original sizes, or go with a +1 fitment on TireRack.com - > Click here: http://ad.nicoclub.com/phpads/...3DCP2

I agree with Greg (AZHitman)!

Since the front and back rims are different sizes and offsets, you cannot (and should not) rotate them front to back anyway. Hence, it is better to optimize the performance by getting the tires to optimally fit the wheel widths! This means picking staggered sizes too.
