is it a light coating or heavy and dripping? does the turbo itself move in and out or side to side alot or fairly minimal? and is the car smoking at all?

a little bit is okay and usually normal as far as I've seen. But a large ammount coupled with any turbo play (beyond the norm) is cause for concern

well the turbo has play but its very very very minimal and its in and out play and the oil in the pipes is minimal too it does not dripp but if u run ur fingure down the inside walls of the pipes u will get oil on ur finger not a lot but its still there. this is the first turbo car i own so im still learning about it. im trying to see if i can get away with driving the car daily like that since i bought the sr20 from an importer and it came with an upgrade hks turbo already i didnt want to change it out...and dont know how much it'll be to rebuild it if it can even be rebuild...i was also thinking that maybe oil going into the engine cylinders from the pipes was also a reason my car sputters slightly when i get on the gas??? i really appreciate u taking time to help me out any info is helpfull to me
