So I ended up fixing the odometer which is great but for some reason when I installed the dashboard back the temperature gauge only stays in hot and the fuel gauge stays at 1/4 when I had 1/2 a tank left. I tried some things like checking the connectors to see if I accidentally put them on wrong, but they are fine. I have no idea and could really use the help if anyone has experienced this before when putting the dashboard back on to the car. The dashboard lights are only on because I didn't completely turn on the car when I took the pic.

So I took out the cluster and thought that possibly there was false contact I sprayed some electrical contact on some of the connectors and made sure they clicked in really well. The temperature gauge started working again but not the fuel gauge. As soon as I drove over a bump on the road it stopped working again. So is it the cluster or the connections to the cluster?

Only you can determine that and look hard at the work done there..........

Yeah, it's either gonna be a connection or a loose lead or something.
