Ok I'm in this dilemma. If you had $2,500... For my daily driver / weekend beast what would YOU do?

1 ) Get a CA clip for $1500. that leaves 1000 + for mods. What kinds of MODs / parts ( any parts for the CA ) would you get?

2 ) Just get a STOCK sr CLIP and do no MODS?

hmmm... i would leave as much room for error as possible. get the CA clip, then if something happens during the install youve got it covered. i would just go intake/exhaust, sr t25, sr smic and MAYBE a boost controller.

Same here. There are hidden costs that would put you over 2500 for a stock sr. So, I would get a CA.

Definitely go for the CA. You should ALWAYS factor a buffer into your project budget for unforeseen factors. Anything from internal problems with your clip to cracking a power steering line when you put the motor in can lose you a couple months if you don't have some overflow cash. If all goes well treat then yourself to a fresh turbo and some electronics.

Get the CA, in and running and then see how much dough you have left over. You'll have less than you think...
