Yes it will.

A very popular engine swap for all 240's... convertibles included.

Here is a thread with a few examples. http://www.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=86913

It should be a pretty easy swap for someone with some experience. If you go 5-spd.. you will have to trick convertible motor into thinking the car is always in park... they are designed to work only in park.. but there's no park in a 5 spd.

Use the search button... look up SR swap. There are lots of thread with lots of instructions on how to do it. The convertible part is a very small hurdle. You can do it!!!

Just make sure you go SR20det... not RB20det. I want to be the only 1 with the RB.. so don't even think about it.

No. The SR will not fit into a convertible. The blinker resevoir was moved and interferes with the clutch hydrolics ^^

^^ Too late.

There's a local building an RB36DETT 94 Vert.

WITH a fully-functioning ATTESSA system.

AND right-hand drive.

I must disagree... I have seen them around..

I was doing some research, and I found out that the clutch hydrolics can actually be swapped out in favor of a torsen limited slip pressure plate. The only other hitch is that you need the VTEC throttle body with the 4matic hybrid onstar system.

Plus, this time of year you need to tighten the muffler belt and make sure you put winter air in the tires.

Geez c'mon you guys... shouldn't this all be common knowledge by now?

Dude, if you can come up with the dough and parts, and figure out how to make it work.. Go FOR IT!!!

I will very happily take a back seat to an awesome project like that.
