HELP!!!

Hey all, I have a 2003 nissan xterra, 2wd 4cyl 5 speed. The rear ens went to crap and i need some help.My axle code is CA48 but everything I research shows nothing with that axle code. Help me please. Im looking to get a used axle assembly to just swap it out and be back on pavement.

Is that the axle code off the door sticker?

What makes that odd might be the fact that it's a 2wd, 4cyl and a 5speed, most were v6, auto and 4wd. You are going to have an interesting time finding one. Have you tried http://www.car-part.com ?

If you can't find the exact one one from a 3.3 4wd would fit as well I would think I do t know if the gearing would affect anything or not being that it's 2wd and I think if I'm not mistaken and axle from a hardbody or frontier 2.4 2wd I believe will work too bit again gearing but I'm pretty sure the xterra and frontier are the same chassis and everything just different bodies...can anyone else confirm this or correct me if I am wrong
