ok guys so i got into an accident here a few weeks ago and it hit the passanger rear quarter panel back to the tail light. so i havnt had any problems with anything until i got my belts changed. i only have my brights now my dims wont turn on, i have no tail lights until i hit the brakes and my fog lights only come on if my headlights are on. my rear passanger tail light is completely gone and there are a few wires showing back there. the shop that did my belts taped up the wires and now since they did whatever they did im having these problems. any idea what could have caused all this. thanx in advance

Maybe they mixed up the wires when taping them. Go back there and look

If you're driving a 96Q like your avatar says (not the 98Q implied by your username ) check the ROOM LAMP fuse in the engine compartment fuse box. It's a 10 amp fuse, middle row, 3rd from the top. Don't trust your eyes- the break can be very small. Pull it and look at it with a magnifying glass or check continuity with a voltmeter.

Ok ill check the fuse when I get home. And the wires in the back that are taped are colored. There are two red ones one black one and one white one. And all 4 have a brown plastic piece with a female connector at the end. I'm guessing these were the wires running my tail lamp so idk what these would have to do with all these problems I'm having. None of the actually wires is showing so I don't think it shorted anything but like I said ill check when I get home
