Alright me and a buddy are putting in a new clutch and we cant get the trans off for nothing.Its so close but i cant get the bell housing to clear the floor pans. ive pryed, turned the trans 180, jacked the front of the motor up, and used my hoist to tilt the motor back but its just not enough!! Any ideas guys all help would be great!!

Have you removed the driveshaft?

Is it breaking free of the engine, just not far enough? (like, is there a gap between the trans and the engine?) If not, then you probably still have a bolt holding it in somewhere.

We juat got it off had to lossen motor mounts and tilt in back towards the firewall.
