I need your help guys. I just installed takeda intake on my 08 altima coupe 2.5 cvt transmission. Everything worked out fins, drove it for a block afterwards and there was no problem. Now I left my car in park, revved it to 5000rpm just to hear my intake. And afterwards it won't catch on to any gear besides reverse. when I throw it on drive, nothing displays on the dashboard and when I gas it a little, you can hear the car revving up and down and up and down. Nothing catches on besides p, r, n and sometimes it wont even catch on reverse. The shifter seems loose. I reset the ecu by pulling the battery for a couple min and still nothing.

I tried the shift lock thing and still have no success. I didnt mess with any wires on my intake install besides the ones I needed to.

Help im stuck

I would try putting the stock one back on and see if your problem still continues, or if its the intake thats causing you issues

You installed the intake yourself?

I fail to see how installing an intake would in any way whatsoever damage your transmission. Like Eriko said, just in case, reinstall the stock intake and make sure everything is, not only hooked up, but hooked up correctly then report back here with what happens.
