Does nayone know whcih swap works in a 94 Q45/President. It takes 10 hours to change the valve cover gaskets on the Q..800.00 dollars. I need to swap the motor with something that works better.

So you actually think it takes less time/money to purchase and properly install and integrate a totally different engine not designed for the car instead of a simple valve cover resealing of the present engine already in the car? Come on, that is just foolish!

Honestly an engine swap is fairly easy even though it may seem quite intimidating (given time, tools, lift, possible plenum lifting, and all the rest) Honestly having done a swap I probably would do another to avoid valve cover replacement(never done valve covers) IF i knew the history of the engine im replacing it with. But sourcing a decent engine thats 15+ years old.... replacing what else needs to be replaced... shipping.... all the other things required in doing so it is NOT worth all of that... So it is probably easier and more cost effective to replace the gaskets considering you know the mess you have. No other engine is going to work better than the one you have unless $$ is not the issue. Where are you located?

On another not are you looking for a Kouki president grille or any other random parts?

With a little reading of the FSM, located on this forum, you can change the valve cover gaskets yourself, in under half your started time and for about 1/8 of your stated price. Luckily, I was able to do mine in 3 hours, for under $20, with the super deal I got on my gaskets :)
