Hi there !
I need help guys :(
I have 2008G35x Black. I want to install LED strip in the front bumper but i dont know that from where should i get connection? Should i connect it to the parking light or is there anyway that i can take wires of LEDs from the engine to the interior of the car so that i can insert it in power outlets inside the car ?
Second problem is with my navigation system. I wanna upgrade it but i have heard that dealership upgrade it around 300$ including DVD but its expensive so do we have any other option to upgrade it ?
I hope that i ll get my answers here :)

The LED light can be installed by using the ACC ON fuses so that it has power when you turn on the key. You can install a switch/relay to turn the lights on/off. There are other ways to wire it too...

As for the NAV upgrade, there is no "cheaper" way then the dealership. They have to use a special tool after gaining access to the rear of the deck (which is why there is a labor charge). I have not heard of anyone doing this outside of a dealership.

You guys will laugh at me when i ll tell you that how i installed them :) i took connection from the license plate light and then did wiring all the way to the front bumper ::) :P but it worked so i'm happy :)
But i wish to wiring it again :( I think i can get connection from the ACC fuse in the fuse box right ? Hey Joe ! Is there anything wrong if i ll get connection from Fuse box ?

I believe it updates via DVD and not CF. Usually done at the dealership but you may be able to get it at NAVTEQ. I have Nav on the sedan but have really run into no issues with needing maps updated at this point.
