Ok so i recently got an 89 gtr.
the car ran perfect when i got it the guy just told me there was a minor injector leak and plugs had to be changed.
i replaced the plugs, ordered new injectors(660cc.) which right after running these for about 3-4 hrs running time i switched back knowing it was a mistake because i was so rich i couldnt build boost.

NOW...

I have stock injectors in, no leak new plugs, the mines ecu has been reset and its still running like s***!!! :(
anyone got any ideas?

oh.. im soposed to be running 1 bar(mines) and wont get more then maybe .1 bar

i need some pointers soon or im just gonna go crazy on it

If you're not getting more than 0.1 BAR boost, sounds like you have a boost leak somewhere.

That'd explain why you're running rich, too.

If it idles wrong, then there could be something more to it.
Do you have a stock ECU to try out?

Also, what gap do you have the plugs at?
I had major issues with mine until I gapped all the way down to .026 (running 1 step colder plugs)

no unfortunatly i dont,
umm im not sure what they are gapped to, plus i dont have the proper gauge to gap plugs anyways,
when i first changed the plugs, i went to bkr8eix then when they got changed with the safety i changed them to bkr7eix
im really hoping its not my ecu

Send it to me. I will fix it.

Look at what you changed, you might have done something incorrectly.

The Mines ECU's are dangerous for stock cars and pump gas. They are ragged edge on tuning. I have had more cars lose turbos on Mine's ECU than anything. If you run the Mines ECU run stock boost, or run 95 octane fuel all the time.

"step" 7 is what I have as well.
Stock gap is .040, but I was having issues with it being stupid rich and blowing the spark out when I had them down to .030.

When I pushed them down to .026 a lot of the problems went away.

And a simple disc gauge from Autozone is like $1. DEFINITELY worth it.

id do a boost leak test first before going into electronics, do a boost leak test then more on to the more complex things
