A buddy of mine installed a radio for me today it works fine but I noticed when I got home that my Dash, dome and brake light's don't work. My clock also turns off when I turn the car off. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong? I asked my friend and he says that he can't figure out what went wrong.

I couldn't reply to your PM because you have your "accept PM's from other users" set to off.

You either blew the fuse for the constant power in the S13 fuse box, or the radio was wired incorrectly which in turn blew the fuse in the S13 fuse box. You won't know anything until you check the fuses and/or pull the radio out and cross check all of the wires for proper connection. Did you use a wiring harness that plugged into the factory radio plug? Or did you cut the factory radio plug off and hard wire the new radio harness on?

It had an aftermarket harness and all he did wan splice the wires that were already cut on my old radio. I checked all my fuses and my interior light fuse was burnt so I replaced it. Those lights work now but my brake lights still don't work. I checked the brake light fuse and it's fine but the brake lights don't work at all. One thing I know is that the radio is connected to the ignition switch because whenever I turn the car off I lose my place in the movie I am watching and I lose my radio presets as well.

If ALL fuses check, then you will need to pull the radio out and we'll have to go over the wiring.

u couldave burnt out ur bulbs in the back when u blew the fuse. install a new one, or another bulb from another location in that spot and step on ur brakes and check....
if still no lights, then like broadfield said, go over the wiring.
r ur brakelights and dome light bulbs the same fuse??
& def double check the brakelight fuse atleast one more time.....
