im new to the whole 240 world and i was wondering if there was any way to tell if my 240 has a viscous lsd already installed. i read that some 240's came with the lsd as an option and was wondering if there was any way to tell. any help will be greatly appreciated.

there will be an orange sticker on it that says vicious lsd. the search bar is your best friend. dnt worry though im a "newb" to the forums too lolif you google some images you should see what im talking about

Easiest way to test.....................................

Jack the rear up both rear tires off the ground, release e-brake.Turn one by hand, watch the other one. If they turn in the same direction it's a LSD, if not it will go the opposite way.

Yes some 240s came with LSD, and some 240s a previous owner may have installed an LSD in which you will not have a sticker.

while we are at it.. open diff will only spin one tire right? the right one (on mine)
