help!!

i have a 92 s13 coupe and i did a motor swap! i had to use my old crank pulley and now it leaks massivly after it is reved up, it doesnt leak until then. i have replaced the seal twice. does anyone know what i could do or how to fix it?

OE front main seal? Did you do damage removing the old?

i dont think so its weird bc after it started to leak i tightened it back up and no leak until i reved it up.. i have no idea.. i guess im going to get a new pulley and try that..

Okay, I dont think your pulley is the issue, it doesn't seal anything, just ride thr crank and drives stuff

well the pulley seals the seal and makes it complete! what else could it be?

You replaced the front main or the little seal on the pulley? Im pretty sure it is your front main.

the seal the pulley actually touches!

It sounds like the front main seal wasn't installed correctly. Try installing a new front main seal.

i did twice lol.. i even used a seal driver. its supposed to be flush correct?

It goes int until it bottoms out. I believe it is just a hair past flush.

Pretty damn sure. When you go to install it take a little bit of black rtv and put a small thin even layer on the out side of the seal around the edge. This will also help it seal.
