I'm seriously ready to take my car to the shooting range. I put a new coil, condensor/resistor, ingnitor chip, dizzy, and checked all of the connectors on the harness along with all of the grounds. THE DAMN THING STILL HAS NO SPARK!!!!! WTF!!!!! I even had the mechanics that rebuilt the motor for me come by and inspect my work and they said everything was a o.k. and that the only problem that could be left was either a loose ground or corroded connector. I've checked it all over and over and over. The only thing I haven't changed is the ecu. Is there Anybody that lives in south Alabama that can come by and help. I'm about to scratch my eyes out. Has anybody ever had this problem before? God. Any feed back will be appreciated.

hmm. it's gotta either be the ecu itself or the battery? i find it funny that you didnt mention the battery anywhere >_> check the voltage? (you hopefully already have and had it check out, but maybe not?) and for the ECU, i'd say check the voltage going to the ignitor chip. that will tell you if the ECU is sending voltage out to the coils. if it's not, continue troubleshooting... best of luck to ya. (this IS an SR right? just a tip, you should post more info if at all possible)

IF it is SR20DET, then get a new ignitor chip. Battery...uh, well that would never cause a lack of spark issue... If ignitor doesnt help, then get an ECU to test. Also, relax kid, its just a car.

Sorry guys, I didn't explain the situation very well. Its a 93 hatch, with a rebuilt ka24de. If you search other posts by me (which there may be all of 5) you can see where i've already troubleshot everything else. I'm suprised anyone even posted anything. Lately everyone just says, you the search engine fag, but i guess I was wrong. Anyway, if anyone can help please let me know. Thanks.

If you have a distributor, then you dont have an ignitor chip. So that wasnt replaced, checked, or even seen under your hood.

What you should replace however is the main relay inside the pass apron. Do it. do it.

come on do it.

dooooooooo it

Well, I finally broke down and took the car to a local mechanic. After a few days of troubleshooting we found out that the ecu had a burned out wire. It was the strangest thing. The ecu was sending an ignition signal, it was just sending it at the wrong time. We ordered a new ecu and the car fires and turns over but won't start. It's probably bad gas, I'll keep everyone posted.
