Ok here's the scoop... I drive a z31. enough said. So I bought an s13 hatch with nothing more wrong with it's dohc ka than a tapping lifter a motormount and a timing hicup. Of course I want alot of power but at the same time I don't want more than 350 400 right now. Can that reliably be achieved with keeping the dual cam and saving money opposed to buying an rb or sr? of course down the road I'll get one of the above but can I reach my hp goals (reliably!) with the ka if it's not muffed up? thanks guys in advance

p.s. I'm new to all nissan products, parts, builds, and ideas so don't make fun of my question too much. You can measure my ignorance with buying the z cuz it looks fast. psych!

Spend time in the KA-t section and do some research on your own. There are alot of KA-t build threads, and there is more that enough info on this site to help you determine if you can build that motor. And only you can decide to build it or not.
