ok...first, what are your plans with the car? Daily driver, occasional track use, street racing(i really hope not), drag racing, drifting, road racing, auto X/HPDE?after we get some details we may be able to help you out.

ive never realy thought that cutting the springs was a good idea. as for ride height, only u could realy know how low/hi they should be given the bumps and whatnot of ur area. and since it seems like its gonna be a simple daily driver for a while, i wouldnt do anything crazy with the suspension to make the ride too uncomfertable.

ok, springs and struts, such as KYB AGX's will give you a little adjustability as far as dampening IF you ever decide to track your car or drive in mor "spirited" maner and RS*R, Eibach Pro springs or something comparable will give you a decent ride while lowering you car a little further than some of the other springs out there, or you could go with Tein S techs which have an ok drop but will still be a comfortable ride

just for reference my s13 is my DD and i ride on Stance GR+ coilovers, full Battle Version suspension arm set, Suspension Techniques anti sway bars, Nismo Power brace and strut bars, i like the ride, it is a little rough, but i would it rather be that way

Keep it stock. Make it ride like new. You'll be happy. Trust me I know this is what you want.
