ive seemed to run every test up and down i can think of short of some professional mechanic tools to figure out why my performance is lagging and my gas mileage is.. iffy. after doing intake/throttle body cleaner im at about 14 miles a gallon. i drive a bit on the highway. and im usually conservative. so WHY THE HELL AM I GETTING **** GASMILEAGE?! anyone in the area that could stop by and throw some ideas around?

check your Mass Air Flow Sensor.. might just need a new one.

that brought my S13 down to 100miles to the TANK!!

replaced it with a used one.. back up to 300+ miles to the tank

Dragging brakes, tire pressure, ignition timing off, bad plugs, clogged intake, worn injectors or fpr.... could be alot of things but these are pretty common.

could always try replacing the ECU.. it may not show any signs of wrongdoing.. but it's very possible

Try resetting the ECU.

Normally you can just unplug the battery for ~5 minutes and it should reset it self when you reconnect it.

My Dad lives in Marlboro so I'm in the area a lot if you still are having problems. I won't know much about a 300ZX but a second set of eyes can never hurt.
