I can't make up my mind. In two weeks I'm buying a supercharger or turbo for my 350z. Can I get some opinions please? pictures, links, prices or vids

what is your gaol? the SC is easier as it requires no exhaust work, but tends to run lower boost, it doesn't help taht it takes more power to run them, but for quick easy cheap (at least cheaper than turbo) it can be very rewarding, turbo is basically limitless in potential power but if you want big numbers you gotta be willing to spend the money, the stock motors can only take so much, but the turbo kits tend to cost more, generate more heat, way more involved instalations, but more flexible and more power potential

Hard choiceTURBO! You get the BOV sound...Superchargers got that whine.N/A got fire shootin' out the back...

nah seriously though..

Are there any all motor Z's out there? all i hear about is forced induction systems... props to the fella though who built up a potent VQ on pump gas... or a 10k RPM VQ or a torque monster...

in n/a form the engine was very well built by nissan, if you want to go high compression stroker there are certainly gains to be had but these engines are very efficient ftom nissan, considereig they make more power than the 97 cobra 4.6 v8 thas someone was recently comparing the z to, firced inductions is just more bang for the buck than any other mod

Depends on your plans and how much money you want to spend. You can get more power out turbo's, but most kits cost more money. ie APS

Wow you guys are awesome....How much hp can i get with s/c and new exhaust intake etc..Turbo is like 6,000 vs 3,500. For some reason I like the whine sound from charger lol not sure why just my personal opinion. HKS just came out with a charger I think...what s/c would give me the most power? anyone know and btw thanks for all your input guys

You can get 450 hp on 8psi in the 350z and no other mods to the internals. I will be doing that next summer.

Turbo not sure, money is the poison. But I can tell Nissan did a great job with the engine I have in my 350 GT as far as tuning and sound.

Good luck

IMO hks has the full spectrum and they really work well with the nissan because of the Japan heritage and their technology comes from overseas which is very good.

Both are good choices. I would go with the procharger on mine, but it's all in preference. Just don't get the stillen one because you have to get the raised hood also.
