help!?!

ok so i finally started up my 89 hatch all stock KA24... its been running fine for the last two days, but today i decided to take it to Riverside, i live in Compton... it ran smoothly all the way here no problems at all.. But when i finally arrived to Riverside i got off the freeway and i stopped at a light, the car just shut off on me... needless to say i was like WTF!! So i turned the key again but it didn't want to start... almost as if there was no gas getting to the engine... finally it started and i was on my way. Then a couple of minutes later again while i was stopped it did it again. As long as im stepping on the gas its all good when i get off the gas the RPM drops and it shuts off any ideas?

Could be a vacume leak. I would constantly be slightly reving my supra because it would die whenever i stoped. and the problem for me was a leak....

True that, that happened to my 240 when I had a small tear in one of the vaccuum lines. Had to keep my foot on the gas.

so i checked today to see if i had any leaks... cuz it shut off on me twice wierd thing was that it was at the same place when i was going and coming back...freaky.... but anyways i didn't hear or feel any but Im going to get some carborator cleaner and check to see if it is a vacuum. But the engine doesnt sound weird doesnt it usually sound unsteady when there is a vacuum leak?? im thinking its the fuel injectors... should i dump some cleaner in the tank and c what happens??
