I'm trying to install a stage I lower tie bar on my friends I30 and I cannot, for the life of me, get the driver side control arm bolt loose. I've used WD-40, PB Blaster, and I'm using a wrench that could be considered a weapon. I strained, grunted, and cussed at the bolt for at least 30 minutes before I gave up. My car gave me difficulty...but nothing like this bolt. It's mocking me. Have you guys had this difficulty on these bolts? What did you do?

I can't, the transmission pan is in the way, I have no room for a ratchet only a good ol' fashion wrench.

have you considered using a torch ? heat it up and then try to loosen it, should work like a charm once the metal becomes softer. Im not saying make it red hot, but heat it up quite a bit. Tell me if i helped at all, im new.

Its hard to give advice because i dont know how much space you have to work with. I had to use this method on my dad's boat last summer and it worked perfectly.
