Please help me identify my turbo. I have searched here and googled to no avail. I bought this t25 turbo off of ebay and received it a few days ago. I bought it with lines and manifold attached for $150+$50s&h, this is supposed to be a used s13 redtop t25. I've never owned a turbo, so I just assumed that since it was on the stock sr manifold that it is a red top t25. well if it is on the stock mani, it could only be a t25 or t28 right?

so all the pics I see on here that are t25's all have AR80 on the compressor housing.

my turbo says garrett AR60 m24 1-2 on the compressor.

AR64 m3 on the exhaust housing and on the label:xf0393j14411-69f00466541-7001

so is this an s13 t25

or t28?

It's a S 13 T25. The housings ar usually pretty rusty on used turbos which makes it hard to see but it actually says A/R .60 on it. I dont think you could get a T28 for $150 anywhere unless it is in really poor shape.

WOO! correct turbo information is hard to find on the net! especially for a turbo noob. but I think after many hours of reading tonight, I have finally figured out that I have a s14 gt28r!! which I think is equivalent to a garret gt2560r, ball bearing turbo!!!which is a miracle that I got for $200 shipped from someone who thought it was a t25. also it seems to be in good shape!

can anyone verify this, someone with a high number of posts that is.

anyone know the stock wastegate psi?

also anyone know why mine has 1-2 on the compressor and others have 1-1???

Actually that sounds like its the turbo from an automatic S15.

there is no divider in the turbine though, I think s15 has a divider dividing the exhaust and wastegate.

I think this is a s14 t28 ball bearing, which is hard to believe.

I looks like a good turbo, no oil leaking, shaft play is.......I don't know this is the first turbo I've messed with, but I think it has very little front to back and no side to side shaft play. fins look good and I looked in the hole for oil return and it looks super clean inside. I am going to post pics of it tonight.

so the garrett website says that 466541-1 corisponds to a gt2560r, which is a brand new gt28r?

and it seems that 14411-69f00 is a nissan part # that corisponds to a s14 turbo AND an s15 a/t turbo, both ball bearing but the s15 one has better materials or something, like it can withstand more heat???

Only the spec-r model got the divider wall.
