please excuse my noob-ness... but i was wondering if anyone could send me instuctions to put a VH45DE into my 180SX chassis... also... could i use the KA trans to back it? any help would be very much appriciated... again, please excuse my noob-ness...

i didnt just read that.......

....ill forget about the flaming and just tell you that there are no instructions. Everone that has this swap or is attempting this swap custom fabbed just about everything.

make use of the search button or just start reading topics from page1 all the way to 7 on this forum. The best tool you really have in the topic "stickied" at the top of page 1 titled "the ultimate vh faq".

there is also a user under the name "motorsports" that has a vh45swap in his s13 chassis. look him up.

Yeah that was uncalled for, so I deleted my post.

Anyway, like he said, theres no instructions because its been done maybe once or twice!

Step 1: Remove KA/SR/CA2: Make custom mount3: Order a z32 adapte rplate kti and get a z32 transmission and driveshaft4: Make transmission mount5: Have fun wiring6: Turn key7: Take video

wiring isnt that bad, actually its pretty easy, only about 7-8 wires gets everything to work, including temp gauge and tach
