HELP !!

Hy, my name is Gaston and I'm sending this mail searching for some answear about a problem in my car.

I'm the owner of a "1992" Nissan 300ZX TWIN TURBO , 3 months ago I remove my engine. I take the Turbos to GARRETs dealer in my country (Argentina) and they made:On turbo #1 , a complete service without replacing any mechanical part, and on Turbo # 2 they change the complete body puting a new one.

Then put my engine in my car and only on specials moments my car "Smokes white"

Sinthoms:-Both turbos work excellent at every regim .-My car "ONLY" Smokes after 5 minutes at iddle speed (700RPM),but they stop smoking when I start running....VERY RARE!! -It Doesn't smoke when I'm running or when I make a shift (Someone told me that this tells , the oil valve seals and the rings are good)

Garrets dealer tells me that might be PCV valves are bad , but I really don't think so ¿¿??ATPTUBO dealer tells me to put same restrict Oil Pressure (ATP-OIL-021), but when the cars was new (okm) it never smoke and now the turbos are new again so it doest have to smoke ¿¿??.

Really I don't know what's happening there ¿The turbos were badly repair or I have my valve oil seals bad or .... ?

¿Do have same diagnostics for this?

white smoke usually indicated burning coolant, if the turbo's are leaking oil you'll see oil inside your top pipes if it's leaking on the compressor side, the exhaust seems to go out all at once form my experience so I doubt that would be your problem

and the shift thing makes me think of the pcv valves as well, it's a common problem

hi there .i also have a 91 300 zx built motor single super t70 and im having white smoke problems 2.it started smocking when i replaced an oil line 2 the turbo so i figured i was 2 bent and not alowing good oil flow so i replaced it it stopped smoking 2-3 days then started smoking again,now i noticed when i punch it it dosnt really smoke only when i slow down ,and idle,if i just start the car and idle id doent smoke at all.and yes i do have oil coming out of my exsaust let me know if u find the promblem tx

oil coming out your exhaust? sounds liek a blonw seal on the turbine side of the turbo!
