help: T2 external wastegate

with the amount i hear guys getting boost creep on their gt28 family turbo's, i wanna go with an external waste gate.now theres only a couple things i am sure of what to do.i'll need an external wastegate, that needs to be put on the manifold.ill need to close the valve for the actuator on the turbo.

what i dont understand is where to put the external wastegate exactly on the manifold. i have a MR tubular manifold.

should i weld the valve shut?

any recommendations?
