Hi I was just wondering if you could kinda point towards what is wrong w/my car I know it's not a nissan but maybe you could help because no where else can. Well here goes oh yeah I have a 86 BMW 325

1. When I am driving either speed racer or just cruising along when it gets to shift into 3rd it shifts hard it also shifts hard into other gears too, and starts shaking and dosen't want to speed up, i'm thinking transmission? And theres enough fluid. Also when i go to put it in park when it goes in the reverse gear it almost stalls out not all the time but most and sometimes it does stall out.

2. My brakes I replaced all four and the rotors and when I break it feels like its pulling and when I stop a lil harder then normal my brakes go to the floor but I can stop, then if I tap them once more its normal. And I checked the fluid and it seems to be right.

Oh yah and one more thing

3. My glove box is not locked but it wont open.

Any help is appreciated I just would like to know if anyone has had these problems and can help.

Auto or manual transmission? Definately a problem with the transmission there, can't exactly tell you what yet though. The brake problem. Are you saying that you're pressing the brake to the floor and it isn't stopping. And pull the glove box harder and it will open.

Transmission could be shot, although the fact that it's a BMW tells me it's an electrical issue (solenoid?)... Brakes sound sketchy - Could me a master cylinder or the brakes need to be bled - DON'T drive it like that!

As regards the glove box, it sounds like you have bigger issues to deal with.

No offense, but if you could try to type your question a bit more clearly and describe a bit better, we can help a bit more (go back and read your post and you'll see what I mean)...

Ok sorry was in a hurry, Ok the transmission is an auto with i'd say 230k on it, it is leaking transmission fluid but it has been for a lil bit its from the trans line which costs a lot so im waiting to have it fixed. The brakes are like this, when I go to stop a bit harder then normal they will start moving closer to the floor till the brake pedal is on the floor, but they still stop the car, but if i let go of the pedal and press once more its fine meaning they dont go to the floor it goes in normal. Also when I am stopping the brakes feel like they are pulling on one side or something. Oh yah I alson changed the four brakes and rotors and the pulling was still going on before and afetr i changed the brakes we haven't bled the brakes. Thanks for replyingHope this is more detail for ya
