i just took out my ka24 sohc so i can change my e.g.r vavle,e.g.r pipe and paint the engine bay everything went good till we put the engine back in i put everything back in place and we go to start it and it will no fire. checked the fireing order it's right, checked the coil its good, checked compression around 150 for all four it has fuel because the spark plugs were wet. And everytime we crank it it sounds like it is back fireing out the intake (bubble sound). remember we did not take off the vavle cover change belts, did not mess with the timing chain or anything like that just out and back in can anyone help thank you

Did you check that all of your fuel lines are connected and that the fuel system is pressurizing. Also checking the firing order at the distributer won't help if the previous owner rewired it for a pre-existing problem. Just something to consider.

could be a timing issue. In the process could have moved the distributor. Have you tested for spark?
