Hey, thanks for reading my post. I might be getting a 97 240sx from my aunt, only 68k miles and never been ragged on. yey =) auto tho can someone direct me to an informative site on the stock specs of the car? Also, some links or tips on cheap HP for the stock motor. I'd like to get an sr20det motor, but thats not an option at the moment. would the 2.4l with a turbo be better than the sr20? i love nissans, definitely the best asian import make. toyota's pretty close though :P anyways, thanks for the help!

Both engines are good, neither is better than the other. You can read all about the differences by searching within either the ka-t forum or sr20 forum. If you just read the threads(especially the stickies) on the first page of each forum that will give you a good feel for each motor.
