What would you have to do to put a Ka24 back into a 240 that has been swapped? The reason being if it's posible buying a car with a swap, then buy a Ka24 off e-bay, putting it in the car. Then selling the car, and keeping the Sr20. The idea is trying to break even or better. So basily getting a free engine.

How big of a pain in the a$$ would this be?

Thanks

Assuming you have the knowledge, tools and the proper wiring harnesses, you should not have very much trouble at all.

In most cases KA to SR swaps usually involve splicing the engine harnesses into each other.

go read a ka to sr20 swap write up. you will basically do everything in reverse, and need the same parts that are listed. off the top of my head you would need the the motor, wiring harness, ecu, and possibly the radiator depending on what the previous owner installed. There may be other minor wiring splices if the car went from auto to manual when the original swap was done.
