when you swithced your springs did you put the little plastic pieces on the new springs? if not

i think its either a. your coils slapping against eachother, and as far as i know theres nothing you can do about that other than put the plastic pieces back in where the coils are meeting, or buy the coil silencers from pdmracing.

b. your coils hiting the spring seat maybe?? same thing.

mine does it too.

check to make sure the spring is seated correctly on the mounts, and that you've installed the upper mount bushings and things correctly, many many people complain only to find that they didnt install things correctly.

I would reccomend double checking everything you did, and trouble shooting by determining exactly under what conditions the sound occurs(bumps, turns, left or right side only, cold weather, etc)-chet

mine were black and on the spring coils, and i forgot to put mine on and it makes the sound youre describing, did you seat the springs correctly??

i doubt buying new shocks would make any sort of difference in that matter, but since you bought some aftermarket springs, buying aftermarket shocks/struts is a good idea.

i have disassembled the setup and put it back together many times to try and fix this--the sound occurs only when i go over bumps and it comes from both left and right side of the rear
