Ok, so I have been getting a clunking noise in the rear passenger side of my suspension. I know its not the strut mounts (replaced when i did the 350Z suspension). Its not the sway bar end links or sway bushings (replaced both when I put on Stillen sways).

Took a look from the under belly(when I readjusted the sway bar settings) at the setup and can't see any problems and everything feels secure.

I get the noise when the rear axle is uneven, ie. one wheel hits a discrepancy in the road. It happens regardless of which tire hits the bump, but is more frequent when its the right(passenger) side of the car. The noise is only coming from the rear right side of the suspension.

A standard speed bump with both wheels going over wont make the sound, whereas if just one tire goes over the speed bump I'll get the noise.

Thanks for any ideas!

A loose stabilizer?

Bushings...maybe need more gunk?

Ball joint?

What you can do is jack up one side so that the tire is about 2 inches off the ground. Support the frame with a jack stand, then use a pry to lift up on the tire to flex the suspension. You should hear a clunk or clicking when doing this. Check both sides of the vehicle.

Hey this problem has something to do with the z suspension. I am having the exact same problem.
