Hello,

Just got my 09 G37x sedan a little upgrade, which include: Takeda Attack Cold Air Intakes, Tanabe Y-Pipe and Tanabe Medalion Touring Exhaust. It sound very good but just one tiny problem. The car is not going faster. In fact, I think it goes slower. Thus, I think I need to get a tuner to fix the problem. But I don't know which one is the best one for my G37x. Suggestion please!!! I will also get a high-flow Cat. Which I also need suggestion!

thank you so much

Vic

I would highly recommend you wait until you get the High Flow Cats installed, before you get a tune.
Also, I would not even consider replacing the ECU.
The best way is to go to a reputable Tuner (shop), with a Dyno, and get an UpRev Tune.
This will cost you about $600 ($300 for the software and $300 for the Dyno tune).

If you look for a tune I'd suggest the UpRev

I just upgraded my 2010 g37 Journey coupe, I added a Mortordyne Art test pipe, Invidia Gemini cat back exhaust and I had K & N Cold air intake, I had the CEU tuned with Osiris Lic. w/UpRev. I am happy with the results but want more. I am located in Palm Beach County Florida so I went to the UpRev website and they had HP Logic located in Royal Palm Beach, FL. I had them do all of the work including reprograming the ECU & Dyno run. After everything was completed they suggested changing the K&N Typhoon Cold Air Intake and upgrade to the Takeda long tube Cold Air Intake which I plan on doing this week.

Once everything is complete I will retune & post the Dyno tests results with all of the upgrades listed.
