What size are you looking for?code08red wrote:I need a good sub that will go with a kicker 750.1I dont want to spend more then $200.
Any mobile A/V store should carry sub enclosures. They will probably also be able to custom build one (although that will obviously be more expensive). I think some people have used a box from eBay, so I'd check those possible options. Not too sure about pricing since I've always built all of mine. Maybe someone on here has more experience.code08red wrote:I dont care about the size...just want something that fits in the a/cs trunkWhat type of box would I need? Where can I find a decent priced box?Sorry so many questions!
Here's the cheap box you're looking for. good terminals, good carpeting, generally good quality in my opinion. But the best of all is it fits snugly under the rear deck of the tiny A/C trunk.code08red wrote:I dont care about the size...just want something that fits in the a/cs trunkWhat type of box would I need? i thionk he meant this...iammai wrote:Did you forget the link to the box? I'm assuming its the one on ebay.
Apllebonker, those subs you recommended are dual 4 ohm subs, so he's gonna have to wire them down to 2 ohms... him amp pushes 750 watts at 2 ohms.. he may blow those subsAppleBonker wrote:

Slightly out of budget, these two are awesome!12 inch10 inch
The previous version of the same subs (cheaper but can still make use of that amp):12 inch10 inch
I mentioned those intentionally. Keep the gains down so they don't see more than 600 watts and they'll rock. Extra headroom is always good. Won't drive the amp to clipping. But again, the gain setting is KEY!rjdmmfl1 wrote:

This sub states 600 watts RMS, but will pound like all hell with 750 watts going to it and will definately hold up with that amount of power...
now you and I both know the average consumer is gonna crank that gain thinking its a bass boost... extra headroom is ALWAYS a good idea though...AppleBonker wrote:

But if the average consumer reads my gain setting tuturial in the FAQ, they should be ok.rjdmmfl1 wrote:

I'm at odds about what to do with my system... As much as I would love another T2, I just don't want 120 lbs of subwoofer in my trunk... and I refuse to fork out $2000 for that UL12 and another $1000-$1500 for an amp that can push it
can't wait my dudeAppleBonker wrote:

Yeah, the UL is expensive, but you should never pay that much. I think the amp did run nearly 1100 though (new w/ warranty). We'll definitely have to meet up when your in Chi and I'll let you see what it sounds like.
