Im not too keen on how much wattage is good enough to have a nice sound and a good bump in your car. Could someone please fill me in on what would be a nice sound and what wattage would be good.

Im looking around for a 12' sub and a nice amp. how much wattage is good wattage so it not too powerful for the sub?
