help stupid question time

ok so i want to change out the springs and shocks on my 89 coupe, but i was wondering if i can use upper pillowball mounts when i switch over, or if those will only work with coilovers

and yeah i tried searchin and got nothin

Yes you can, but they have to be a specific type. I also think that they are only available for the front.

Do you want those mounts to be able to adjust camber? If so, the easier route would be to get eccentric bolts for the spindle. They're a lot cheaper and offer a decent bit of adjustability when using lowering springs.

Hmmm do you know what types will work?? and why they wont work with the rears?

so, where can i get the eccentric bolts??? So they should be able to give enough adjustment to zero the camber with aprox. a little over an inch in drop?

why would you zero the camber? stock camber is around -1 or so in the front already

Yeah, don't run zero camber.

If you are only gonna have 1-2 inch drop, there is no need for front pillowball mounts.
