i could easily afford that. but dont see the point in spending that much on rims and tires. as im a maniac driver not gonna lie. and probably ruin them by the end of summer. rather put my money into diamonds and a really expensive paint job

I didn't say you couldn't afford it. I said it was out of your price range of what you decided your wheel budget would be.

20's look like shyt on a Z. 18's or 19's are appropriate. I like Z's too much to let you encrust them with diamonds and put on cheap looking wheels without giving you a fight. Maybe I could help you see the light before it's too late.

Sooooo don't make your car into auto poopy!

Hey lucsious, I moved over like you said hahahahaha. Ok so I see you are shopping for some new rims also, So am I, what are the odds of that?? My car just came out of her winter hibernation and I'm looking at getting her some new wheels/tires as well. Ive been looking around this website http://www.wheelsnext.com they offer wheels and rim packages together, the prices are reasonable too, they also got the wheels that you were looking at and many others. Right now Im leaning on getting this one http://www.wheelsnext.com/whee....html its 19x10.5 rear and 19x8.5 front my second choice would be http://www.wheelsnext.com/whee....html still deciding on which one to get. I hope that website helps. CHeck out my ZR also im going to post some pics.

Jen, going to 20 inch will hinder your overall vehicle performance... 18 is biggest I'd go (personally - and for performance reasons).

The thing you want to think about is sidewall thickness. Too short makes it too stiff, which makes it easier to lose traction every time you hit a rock. It's also nosier and the ride is rougher.

Thought I put that out there for you to consider.

thanks but see im getting mixed answers. a friend has a 350z stock suspension and 20's and feels the same as my 18's. as well as he said no rubbing etc and didnt have to roll fenders.i just noticed to that theres a lot of ppl that think putting 20's on our z cause its a sports car says its stupid. but most of the 370z's come with 19" therefore alot of ppl with them when upgrading there wheels i think will be going with 20's.

ive been researching it now for 4 days straight before i make the buy, but its definately 50/50 for the negatives and positives. but talking to my rim guy lastnight. told him i wanted to do 19's and he asked why i told him all the negative feedback i was getting. he asked. well what tire size did they use? what offset? all that comes into effect. as hes never had a problem with 20's on a z. and has done alot of them.

so well see.

email me [email protected] i'm interested in your wheels

Jen, 20's are more expensive to replace. Personally, I like 19s. 20s are too big, but thats my opinion. Plus with 19s you will have a lot more tire choices to choose from.

This guy has you beat...

Your "wheel guy" sounds more like a "sales guy." 20in wheels and tires cost more, thus he wants you to get 20's. 19's are more than adequate for a 350z, especially at stock height. The 370z has larger fender wells, which is why larger/wider wheels & tires are more commonly utilized on them.

I would recommend looking at wheels manufactured by a more reputable and performance driven company such as Enkei, Axis, SSR, Volk, Work, etc. The 350z is a sports coupe, not a station wagon!

actually wow canada must be alot different for rims and tires.everyone i talked to around here says go with 20;s as 19 inch tires are harder to get there an oddball up here. as wellas theres no way my wheel guy is just trying to make extra money cause weather i go 19 or 20 there the same price. because for the reason:if i get 19's the tires are more but rims are less. if i get 20's the rims are more but tires are less.

canada is so different up here i guess

This what my car has if you dont want an 18/19 staggered width then maybe a 19/20 staggered width.Front Size: 18x9.0 Offset: +30mm Weight: 21 lbs 4 oz Tire: Bridgestone RE050A 245/40/18

Rear Size: 19x10.0 Offset: +30mm Weight: 29 lbs 8 oz Tire: Bridgestone RE050A 265/35/19

when your wheel guy suggested the 20's, what size tires did he suggest to go with, I am thinking about going with 20's as well, just not sure if they will look too big for the wheel wells, my 19's look real nice now.

Adequate wheel width should not be overlooked. There's nothing worse than a 20"x 8" wheel.
