Hello,
Just got some 18x9.5 +12 all round wheels.
I just tried on a rim and it looks too wide. I still need to put tyres on to get a better look at what I’m dealing with but I don’t really want to touch the fenders. I will most likely need to roll but what are more suggestions I can do to make these fit? I’m looking at getting 235/40/18 tyres all round. Will upload pic of test fit when I find out how :)

do I just buy a full 5 stud conversion set up and ditch the 4/5 stud spacer (which is 20mm)???

Converting the 5 stud would bring the wheels 20mm in closer to the car, so yes, that would help. Either that, or roll your fenders like you mentioned.
